ஹவாயில் உள்ள சுபாரு டெலஸ்கோப் உதவியுடன் நாசா விஞ்ஞானிகள் ஒரு கிரகத்தை கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர்இது வியாழன் கிரகத்தை விட 13 மடங்கு பெரிதாகும் எனவே இதற்கு சூப்பர் வியாழன் என அழைக்கத் தொடங்கியுள்ளனர்.இந்த கிரகம் கப்பா ஆன்ட்ரமீடா பி என்ற நட்சத்திரத்தை சுற்றி வந்துள்ளது .சூப்பர் வியாழன் கிரகம் சிவப்பு நிறத்தில் காணப்படுகிறது. இந்த கிரகத்துக்கும் சூரியனுக்கும் உள்ள தூரம், நமது சூரிய குடும்பத்தில் நெப்டியூனுக்கும் சூரியனுக்கும் உள்ள தூரத்தைப் போல இரண்டரை மடங்கு என்கிறார்கள் விஞ்ஞானிகள்.பூமியிலிருந்து 170 ஒளி ஆண்டுகள் தொலைவில் இந்த கிரகம் சுற்றி கொண்டிருக்கும்.
In Hawai, Astronomers have discovered a new planet "super-Jupiter".It is 13 times bigger than Jupiter, which is the largest planet in our own solar system.The planet orbits a star called Kappa Andromedae that is 2.5 times the mass of the Sun and is located 170 light-years away from Earth. As the planet is bigger than the jupiter ,It is named as “ Super Jupiter “.The host star around which the planet orbits has a mass 2.5 times that of the Sun, making it the highest mass star to ever host a directly observed planet.
